Our return and refunds last for 7 days. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or returns past this 7 day period and no exchanges or refunds will be offered after this time.
In order to be eligible to return an item, it must be in the exact same condition that you received it and be completely unused. It should also still be in the original packaging.
To process a return we ask that you email your proof of purchase to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and contact us prior to arranging shipping.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds will be granted (if applicable).
Any item that has been ordered in error such as incorrect dimensions, colour, finish etc.
Any item not in its original condition, that is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.
For the above cases we will refund 50% of the order value excluding any delivery charges.
Refunds (if applicable):
Once we have received your returned items we will inspect them and notify you via email that we have received them. At this point we will also inform you whether or not your refund has been approved.
If the refund has been approved then we shall refund the order against the original method of payment. This process can take 2-3 business days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you believe you should have received your refund and it still isn't showing after 3 business days, first check your bank account again. Then we ask that you contact your credit card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted and showing in your account.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are returning goods to us at Metres Direct then you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over £75, we would advise you to use a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
